Muscat, Oman – Authorities in Muscat have arrested an Asian national after seizing a significant quantity of illegal drugs, including marijuana and crystal methamphetamine, officials confirmed on Friday.
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) reported that the suspect was taken into custody during a targeted operation carried out in the capital. Officers acting on intelligence conducted a search that led to the discovery of marijuana and crystal meth in the suspect’s possession.
The police emphasized that efforts to combat drug trafficking continue to be a major priority, urging the public to report any suspicious activities to help authorities curb the spread of illegal substances in the country.
